UK Cold Water Swimming Championships 2013 -
5 Medals for Nemes Nutters!

On the 26 January 2013 the South London Swimming Club hosted the 5th UK Cold Water Swimming Championships at Tooting Bec Lido.
A group of hardy swimmers from Holborough Lake's Nemes Nutters Swimming Club competed in this fun and memorable event.
This biennial event has become a must for cold water swimmers, attracting both the experienced cold water swimmer and people who are trying it for the first time. Age and ability is no barrier as, with water temperatures as low as 1°C, jumping in for the 30 yard races is a challenge in itself.
On the day the water temp was 1 degree and we came away with a total of FIVE medals! Amy successfully completed the 450 endurance race and even performed a handstand at the end!
It was a proud day for all of us.
