Fiona "The Princess" Rezin

I enjoy swimming and have always liked the idea of swimming the channel, but never actually considered it a possibility. When approached to do a relay, I was so excited, I could think of nothing else for weeks. This will be the first time I have ever taken on any kind of challenge and will be so proud and happy if we make it to France as planned. If we succeed, I'll have an answer to give in those horrible job interviews when they ask you about your achievements. Plus of course, this swim is to raise money for a good cause, so what a perfect excuse to eat cake and get fat in the name of charity!

We are likely to encounter some big scary ships, waves, poo, rubbish, seaweed and even a jellyfish or two on our voyage, but I'm not too worried about them. My biggest fear is getting sick/cold and letting the team down by failing to complete my swims. I have a lot of respect for sea and her power over man, so I hope she will be kind to us on the day and we all make it together.
